JOIN THE TYEE NATION Y-GUIDE PROGRAM ON BAINBRIDGE ISLAND
AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PARENT AND CHILD TO BUILD LASTING MEMORIES
|
Come and join a program that for 75 years has offered opportunities to build life long friendships and create family memories.
Family, Nature, Fun, and Community - the YMCA Adventure Guides Programs have a long history of providing elementary school age
children and their parents with opportunities for fun times, learning and mutual understanding. Long an opportunity for fathers to
be involved and interact with their children, the Adventure Guides Program on Bainbridge Island is open to every parent and child,
kindergarten through fourth grade. Parent and child share in events, games, crafts, outings, and campouts. Tyee Nation events
include campouts at Camp Orkila on Orcas Island, Cedar Springs Camp in the Cascade Mountains, and horse camp at Miracle Ranch,
as well as Kite Flying, Pinewood Derby, and Mariners Baseball games.
These unique parent-child events blend special times together with great learning experiences and maximum fun.
The Tyee Nation is now seeking new members. Any parents interested in quality time and fun with their child should look into joining the
Bainbridge Island Tyee Nation and YMCA Adventure Guides.
